Rehabilitation and Reintegration of Children & Youth in Organized Crime

Proportion

Justice systems worldwide are failing to protect children and to uphold their most basic rights. Across the world, millions of children interact with justice systems every year. They could be victims or witnesses to a crime. They could be alleged, accused, or recognized as having broken the law. They could need care or safety or seeking to protect their rights.

Therefore, our safety and security project works towards ensuring that children enjoy their childhood free from child labor, engagement in organized criminal activities and trafficking.

This project endeavors to ensure that children and young people in conflict with law are rehabilitated and reintegrated back to the community. Through this, alternative livelihood opportunities such as technical and vocational skills are shared through capacity building processes to ensure that they have hands on skills that can facilitate access to decent livelihood.
