About Us

We amplify the voices of young people and LGBTQI+ on SRH, Mental Health Wellbeing, and unlimited access to Rights through Arts, Culture, and Media.

Talanta Africa – TA is a dynamic performing art, culture, and media organization that engages creative approaches to amplify the voices of underserved populations.
The organization believes in a society united in one accord and adhere to strict dictates of the rule of law and one which does not define people based on sexuality by placing performing arts, culture, and media at the key of advocacy on sexual rights, children development, and young people and LGBTQI+ participation in governance and development processes, leadership and governance; and climate justice.

We envision a society of young people and LGBTQI+ whose voices are included in governance and development spaces without bias on gender or sexuality.

Vision Statement:

  • A free, just, and equitable world where LGBTQI+, Children, and Young People are able to translate their aspirations and potentials into a productive and fulfilling life through performing arts and media.

Mission Statement:

  • To provide a platform where LGBTQI+, Children, and Young People can engage in and with their communities to bring sustainable positive change through performing arts and media.
